Our survey only takes about 4 - 8 minutes to complete and is designed to pass 80% - 90% of employees.  This translates to an "employee friendly" experience.

Supporting Documentation

 

Unlike other inefficient audit approaches, we only audit where it makes sense!  About 30% of employees are required to submit supporting documentation.  The only employees which are required to submit proof are employees which:

 

1. Provide questionable answers to survey questions, or

2. Never take the survey.

 

In addition, in order to maintain program integrity, we also perform random audits across 5% - 10% of the "pass" population.  This is done to "help" keep employees honest. 

 

Employees can send us their documentation via fax, email or "snail mail."  Our highly trained Dependent Auditors then review each document to help confirm eligibility.  As long as the supporting documentation is complete, the employee then receives a "pass" notification."  

 

Documents generally include, but are not limited to: 1040s, marriage certificates, spouse's driver's licenses, domestic partner affidavits, birth certificates, adoption papers and divorce decrees.  It is important to note we take document and information security very seriously and shred all documents shortly after the audit ends.

The only information that is retained is 1) The signed Dependent Confirmation Form which serves as an audit trail for removed dependents, and 2) Incomplete documentation.
