Unlike other consulting firms Health Equity is in the DNA of our firm.  Howard Gerver,  Founder and President of HR Best Practices' parents provided healthcare services to Medicaid patients in the Bronx during the 1970s.   Howard went to work with his dad on the weekend and also helped with the Medicaid billing.  As a teenager Howard saw first hand how important it was (and is) for all walks of life to have quality access to care.
